About Andy
Andy has enjoyed a successful twenty+ year career in corporate and family business environments, and since 2009 has been a business coach and consultant. For ten years, he consulted on a diverse range of projects across industries in the San Francisco Bay Area. His clients have enjoyed increased profits, significant revenue growth, a greater sense of purpose and significant gains in marketing effectiveness and customer retention.
But Andy had long been drawn to Scotland. He fell in love with the country when he attended the University of Stirling for his undergraduate degree. After graduation, Andy moved to London and then to the United States.
In 2009 Andy left corporate America to launch his independent consulting business and to pursue his MBA. Andy earned his MBA from San Francisco State University where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma organization celebrating business excellence.
Over the next decade, Andy worked with business owners to help them reconnect with themselves, their business and their passions. Andy also taught in the College of Business at San Francisco State University, where for six years he taught ethics, sustainability and business strategy to undergraduates.
Andy finally achieved his dream of returning to Scotland when he and his family relocated to Oban, Argyll in 2019. Andy loves the Highlands. As a keen runner, mountain biker and walker Andy finds pleasure in gaining the high land. He never tires of the clarity and perspective that comes from reaching the top of a climb and seeing the lochs, hills and glens spread out before him.
